About FAFICS
FAFICS – the Federation of Associations of Former International Civil Servants.
Established in 1975, FAFICS brings together 64 Member Associations worldwide, representing approximately twenty thousand retirees from the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
We advocate for retired civil servants’ rights, particularly in pension and health insurance matters, by monitoring UN General Assembly developments and other governing bodies of UN System Organizations. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, FAFICS operates as a non-profit association, governed by the FAFICS Council.
