Dear Tedla.

On behalf of the entire Federation, I would like to convey to you, to colleagues in your region and the families of the missing, our deepest sentiments of sorrow and our solidarity with your community at large for the tragic event arising from the plane crash of the flight Addis Ababa -Nairobi.

I am sure you are aware of the losses incurred among colleagues in Rome, and other locations. In Rome this involved WFP, FAO staff among others. I know the UN at large is responding with solidarity and support to families in need of assistance.

Please rest assured that FAFICS stands ready to help as it can in any initiative in this regard.
