Dear AFICS/NY members,

AFICS/NY is pleased to resume its publication of our traditional Bulletin with this relaunched edition Vol. 53 No. 1 Spring-Fall 2024 (here). This issue includes many updates of our work over this last year and other items of interest. We hope you will enjoy reading and seeing in the accompanying photos, your colleagues and friends (and perhaps yourself) who have participated and worked on the many activities carried out by AFICS/NY.

I would like to thank the Communications Committee for the preparation of this Bulletin, namely Gail Bindley-Taylor, Judith Karl, Shirley Brownell, Laura Frischeisen, Sandra Haji-Ahmed, and Delia Barcelona with support from Velimir Kovacevic and Veronique Whalen.
