Inter-Association Coordination:

Facilitating regular communication and meetings among member associations to share updates, best practices, and strategies.

Promoting solidarity and close contact between member associations to strengthen the global network of former international civil servants.

Member Engagement:

Keeping retirees informed about important developments, including changes in pension and health insurance policies.

Providing platforms for feedback and suggestions from members to ensure their concerns and needs are addressed.

Advocacy and Representation:

Ensuring transparent and open communication with the UN Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) and other relevant UN bodies.

Representing the community of former international civil servants at meetings of the UN Joint Staff Pension Board and other relevant forums.

Information Dissemination:

Regularly updating members through newsletters, emails, and the FAFICS website.

Support and Guidance:

Providing assistance to members in resolving issues related to pensions, health insurance, and other post-service benefits.

Offering advice and information on legal and regulatory matters affecting retirees in different countries.

Collaborations and Partnerships:

Coordinating with federations of staff members in service and other relevant organizations to advocate for common interests.

Engaging in exchanges with other associations and organizations to foster mutual support and cooperation.
